The Finance Committee is an advisory body to the Parish Priest in dealing with the administration of the Parish finance, Parish estate and planning future expenditure.
The Committee conforms to Diocesan Guidelines. The lay members include a solicitor, an accountant, a former banker, a person with experience in the building field and is chaired by a person with management experience. The Parish curate is an ex officio member and the Parish Priest attends each of the meetings.
HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has a scheme to assist charities (Holy Rosary is a registered charity). It is called Gift Aid. If you are a tax-paying contributor to Holy Rosary and a member of the scheme, Holy Rosary will receive 25p for every £1 you contribute. Only 280 parishioners are in the scheme. Many more could join at no cost to them. Please contact Danny Carty on 90693134.

There are a range of functions which need adequate support to be effective. Anyone with experience in processing/recording cash would be welcomed. Please contact the parish office to advise the Parish Priest of your interest.
